Domestic Packages:
For packages 13 ounces and under we ship USPS First Class. This equates to approximately 1-3 skeins. Packages over 13 ounces will be shipped via United States Postal Service PRIORITY Mail (USPS) or UPS Ground. Your item(s) will ship within 3-4 business days after receipt of your order. The general shipping timetables for USPS First Class and Priority and UPS Ground mail are as follows:
In the USA – shipments generally take 2 – 5 business days.

Domestic packages shipped via USPS can be tracked and you will receive email notifications with information regarding tracking. Swift Yarns is not responsible for any lost, or stolen items once shipped. We cannot replace the lost or stolen items once the order has left our facility.
Rates for domestic shipments are as follows:
0.0 oz. to 13 oz. (up to approx. 3 skeins) = $3.75
14 oz. to 24 oz. (approx. 3 to 6 skeins) = $6.00
25 oz. to 36 oz. (approx. 6 to 9 skeins) = $9.50
37 oz. to 48 oz. (approx. 9 to 12 skeins) = $13.00
49 oz. to 64 oz. (approx. 12 to 16 skeins) = $16.50
For orders over 4 pounds shipping charges will be customized to your package. We will contact you regarding shipping rates and send a separate invoice for the label cost.
If you sign up for the newsletter, a free shipping code will be given for domestic orders under 4lbs.
International Packages:
We ship all International packages via United States Postal Service FIRST Class Mail, approximately 2-3 business days after the receipt of your order. The general shipping times for USPS First Class Mail are as follows:
All International first class shipments take approximately 2 – 12 weeks to deliver.
International shipping timetables are an approximation. USPS First Class International does not guarantee the delivery of the package(s) in a certain time frame. Tracking is available only within the United States. Once package leaves the US you will have to contact your national or local mail carrier for tracking.
International First Class packages shipping outside of the US and Canada will be insured with Shipsurance. Should a package get lost in transit Swift Yarns will file a claim and once claim has been received Swift Yarns will be able to issue a full refund for the lost package.
All International orders over 4 pounds in weight must be shipped via USPS Priority Mail as First Class mail for this weight class is not available via USPS regulations. Expected delivery date is 6 - 10 days to major markets for USPS Priority Mail International. If your order is over the 4 lb limit we will send a separate invoice for the label cost.
All international customers are responsible for their country’s customs fees and duties. Fees vary from country to country and Swift Yarns is not responsible for these fees. Customs forms are filled out in accordance with International law to accurately reflect value and contents of the package. Packages cannot be marked as “gifts” as this is illegal.
We do not provide free shipping to orders outside the United States.

Combined Shipping:
Shipping will be combined across orders placed the same day within store's business hours of 9am to 5pm. Orders placed across multiple days can not be combined as orders are packed and brought to shipper promptly.
Return Policy
We aim to please here at Swift, unused and uncaked yarn in its original condition/packaging are eligible for a refund within 2 weeks (14 days) of purchase. Sale items are not eligible for return.
Unused yarn refunds will be issued for the full invoice amount minus any shipping costs incurred. Shipping costs will only be refunded if your item(s) were damaged or your order was improperly shipped thus prompting the return.
We will happily work with you regarding flawed or damaged skeins. Keep in mind all our yarns are hand dyed and variation in color from one to skein to another is not uncommon and is part of the uniqueness of hand dyed. We carefully check our yarn during the dye process, but, at times, we may have missed a flaw. We will be happy to replace/exchange or refund your money.
Please do not mail unused yarn back to Swift without first contacting us regarding your return so we can deem your return eligible for a refund.
